THE EUROPEAN NIGHT MARKET RETURNS BIGGER THAN EVER WITH A NOD TO DISCO

 After welcoming more than 20,000 visitors in 2018, The European Night Market returns to Madame Brussels Lane every Friday night this July with a 30% bigger footprint, more stalls than ever before, and neon-drenched entertainment.  Running every Friday 5pm – 10pm, the Euro disco inspired market will stamp your culinary passport with bites from Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Turkey and Greece, as well as looping performances from Tanya George and retro beats by Fleiss. Dating back to 1853, the infamous Oddfellows Hotel will reopen its doors for four weeks only to peddle custom-made Hot Toddies and Mulled Wine.  Taste buds will be transported to Europe’s hotspots – a stop to Italy with Café Babbo’s Nutella-stuffed doughnuts, crisp pastries from Eat Cannoli, panzerotti from Il Panzerotto Taste of Puglia and delicious riffs on the classics from Tiramisu Lift Me Up. Sweet French favourites will be served up by Pop Up Crepe, The Brulee Cart, and Degani, while Frencheese will sling bowls of oozing, melted raclette. DON’T BRIE SAD, HIGH CHEESE RETURNS TO THE WESTIN MELBOURNE

The Westin’s ever-popular High Cheese has returned for winter, dishing up its cheesy take on High Tea in collaboration with Maker & Monger.Launching for the first time in June last year, High Cheese was originally set to leave The Westin Melbourne at the end of August but after a stampede of Melbournians and tourists alike, it was extended to Christmas and saw more than 5,000 people try the high cheese delight. The Wine and Cheese fest are back this year in the newly renovated Seaworks. Launching on Monday 11 June, and running throughout all of winter, High Cheese will offer delectable cheeses hero in both sweet and savoury dishes, showcasing that cheese doesn’t just need to be reserved for after dinner. Westin Executive Chef, Michael Greenlaw has worked closely with Anthony Femia from Maker & Monger to source the ‘best in show’ of cheeses from across the world to be part of the High Cheese line up. FORMAGGIO – A MONTH LONG CHEESE EXTRAVAGANZA

For the month of May, Baby Pizza is collaborating with Prahran Market’s infamous Maker & Monger to deliver FORMAGGIO, a delectable cheese extravaganza. FORMAGGIO will run all May long as Baby’s Senior Sous Chef, Anthony Simone serves up delicious eats using Maker & Monger’s cheese that are guaranteed to satisfy even the most extreme cheese lovers. On offer will be Panini’s for breakfast and lunch, with the option of Pecorino Sardo with mortadella, fior di latte and balsamic glazed baby onions for $13.50 or Italian Salme with fontina, giardiniera and watercress on a sourdough toastie for $14.50.
