Night Noodle Market 2017

The highly-anticipated Night Noodle Markets returns to Birrarung Marr from 9-26 November, setting Melbourne alight with the smells, sights and sounds of more than thirty sizzling hawker-style stalls. The Asian market feast will see food-lovers indulge in the signature dishes and innovative tastes from Melbourne favourites such Hochi Mama, Bambu, Mr Miyagi, Hoy Pinoy, Wonderbao and Gelato Messina, all served alongside roaming performers, DJs and live music. Say Cheese Festival

Say Cheese! Once again, Prahran market will be transformed into the “fromage capital” of Victoria. Held on Sunday 29th October from 10am to 4pm, the Say Cheese Festival will see local cheese makers, producers, mongers and other local producers gathering at the market to demonstrate their products. This year’s program will include Yarra Valley Dairy, Berrys Creek Farm Cheese, Apostle Cheese, Grampians Olive Oil Co, and Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Foods. There will be melted cheese, grilled cheese, cheese workshops, a tone of tasty cheese treats, cheese sculpturing, cheese on cheese on cheese, and more cheese. Say cheese again. The Glen’s Your Market Festival

To celebrate the launch of their new fresh food market hall, The Glen in Melbourne’s south-east is gearing up to host their Your Market Festival with the culinary event highlighting Melbourne’s thriving and diverse food culture. The free festival from Thursday 19 October to Sunday 22 October includes four days filled with cooking demonstrations, kids entertainment, giveaways and tasty samples to enjoy. MasterChef contestant and renowned ‘golden ball dessert creator’ Michelle Lukman, Chef Adam D’Sylva from CBD restaurants Coda and Tonka and “The Wholehearted Cook” Dani Venn will showcase their famous and favourite recipes and share their tips to recreate their delicious dishes at home. Try this delicious cauliflower pizza recipe design by Fiona Tuck that will assist with weight management, digestive issue, liver health and blood sugar imbalance. Enjoy the Melbourne spring while you bake away in the kitchen! CAULIFLOWER PIZZA Prep time: 20mins, cook time: 30min. Serves: 2. Base Ingredients: 1 cauliflower, stems removed, chopped 1 egg, beaten ½ small brown onion, finely chopped 3 tbs almond meal 1 tsp dried mixed herbs 1 tsp olive oil Topping Ingredients: 2 tbs tomato paste 1 zucchini, finely sliced lengthways into ribbons ½ capsicum, deseeded, cut into very thin slices 1 tbs pitted and sliced black olives 4 tbs crumbled feta  Step 1 Preheat the oven to 200°C.
