Skating At Festival 2018

The Skating At Festival will be returning to Melbourne these winter school holidays offering a unique winter wonderland ice skating experience, and this year it will be at two city locations: Southbank and St Kilda. For the first time, Skating At pop-up ice-skating rink will be located on the Crown Riverwalk along the Yarra Promenade, Southbank and also returning to St Kilda on the corner of Acland Street and Barkly Street from June 22 – July 15, 2018. Skating At Festival will also be returning to the Mornington Peninsula – along the Sorrento foreshore, for another exciting year of winter activities during the school holidays. The Happy Tappers pop-up will be at Melbourne’s iconic State Library precinct next week and NAB will be running the show showcasing their recently launched Tap n’ Pay technology on Android phones. If you’re a NAB customer and Android user, great! For a limited summer season, The Richmond Yard  have set up shop every Saturday evening transporting you into the post-apocalyptic year of 2023. Alongside six to eight  themed trailers set up filled with artifacts relating to a specific character created by the team, there’ll also Melbourne’s pop-up food, indie craft beverages and DJs. Described as “An immersive post-apocalyptic bar and grill,” you can reserve your 2 hour slot, to explore the trailers which will be filled with artifacts relating to a specific character created by the team. Regular trucks on rotation include Easey’s and Burn City Smokers cooking up the food and a vintage Airstream-style trailer selling Quiet Deeds beer, Flying Brick cider and a selection of cocktails to quench your thirst.
