Lost Picnic Melbourne 2018

Bohemian outdoor music and food experience, Lost Picnic Melbourne, has brought on board Melbourne’s finest restaurant and food vendors to create a food line up as impressive as its music. Festival goers can choose from array of pop up restaurants, food trucks and hampers from the likes of Caravan of Caviar, Annam, French Saloon, Pho Nom, Beatbox Kitchen, Naughty Frenchy and St Gerry’s – all serving up picnic-perfect fare to a backdrop of Australia’s best music talent. It’s Snowing on South Wharf

If you’ve never experienced snow before, you’re in for a treat as winter has come alive on South Wharf’s Duke’s Walk! For the next days (until July 10), Dukes Walk will be shooting our snowflakes from their artificial snow machines along with large ornamental fir trees supplied by the Mornington Peninsula Christmas Tree Farm and plenty of special food and drink discounts for the whole family to enjoy. Enjoy the winter wonderland sensory experience every evening between 5pm – 8pm before dining on family-friendly and wallet-friendly meals provided at South Wharf restaurants between 5.30pm – 7pm each night. Special winter drinks and dishes for adult dining will be also be available after 7pm, complete with beautiful waterside views and all within easy reach of the central city. Frozen at Ice Bar

Love a themed bar laced with killer puns?  We do, which was why we were pretty excited to get the opportunity to check out Ice Bar Melbourne in it’s newly opened Fitzroy location. Starting our adventure in the front entry, we were definitely digging vibes of a vintage Antarctic explorers hut with rows of warm, comfy overcoats and shelves of faux fur lined boots lining the walls. Once you are fully rugged up, the team then take you through the freezer doors into a small winter wonderland where you can meet a frozen three-headed dog named Fluffy (Harry Potter fans get the reference…), play a game of Eskimo Jenga, or make like we did – and go nuts taking photos…  and that’s before you even remember to order a drink from the Jack Frost guarded bar.  The drinks menu itself is perfect for those who, when faced with too many choices, crumble under the pressure to make a choice. Escape Hunt Melbourne

Royal Melbourne Show

The Royal Melbourne Show is the highlight of the Spring school holidays. Conducted annually by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the show celebrates and promotes excellence in Victorian agriculture, attracting around 500,000 people over 11 spectacular days.
