Christmas is around the corner and soon we will be jumping around, queuing, trying to find creative ideas to please our friends and family. Want to avoid the hustle and bustle of malls and shopping centres during the festive season? The Big design market is your go-to market. Held in the iconic Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne, this three-day shopping event features independent designers, creative workshops and local food and drink and is the perfect opportunity to find gifts. You will also be able to attend various workshops and customise a pair of Japanese slippers with textile artist Cat Rabbit, learn how to care for indoor plants from The Plant Society and get tips on printing and portrait drawing from Melbourne artists.
