Lifestyle, What's On

Start your weekend the right way on Saturday 6 April with Moving Meditation , an unlikely pairing between King & Godfree’s Johnny’s Green Room and Universal Practice, the go-to Physiotherapy, Pilates and Yoga studio in Melbourne.

Johnny’s Green Room, Melbourne’s hottest new sky-high bar will transform into its own rooftop yoga atelier for one morning, with guests treated to a 45-minute session at 8:30am.

Universal Practice founder, Sammy Wilson, will lead Moving Mediation  which combines a blend of yoga and meditation, benefiting the body through movement and the mind through stillness. Throughout the morning, guests will give themselves a chance to relax and rejuvenate as Sammy brings her scientific and holistic knowledge approach to the practice.

Johnny’s rooftop will be decked out with Lululemon mats, and following class attendees will be treated to a coffee of their choice.

Founded in 2016, Universal Practice has become an integral part of the Melbourne wellness landscape, cementing its place as the go-to Physiotherapy, Pilates and yoga studio, with practices across Fitzroy, Richmond and soon-to-be Malvern which will open its doors in winter 2019.

Whether it be a stretch or soaking up the views of the city landscape, this is not your average studio class and will certainly take your practice up a whole new level.

Moving Meditation  is $25, and you can secure your mat here:
