Paris to Provence

Want to travel to France the last weekend of November? Good choice, as Christmas markets are booming during this period. Your ID will never be ready on time, “Dommage, mais c’est la vie” as we said in the “langue de Molière”.

Except if you drive to the Como House and Garden. Upon arrival process to the cashier and get your ticket… no ID required…, and let the magical Paris to Provence comes to you.

Each year in November the Como House and Garden transforms into a whimsical French popup village for three days and puts together more than 70 stalls and exhibitors representing everything French in Melbourne, ranging from French food, travel and tourism, children activities, boutique, brocante, lifestyle and furthermore.

If you love France and its culture come along to polish your French skills, network with other Frenchies, watch, touch, smell and taste all that embodies France and be immersed in a vibrant and lively French village atmosphere.

This year, the festival will honour Coco Chanel with a unique exhibition in Como House’s Boudoir, Grand Ballroom and Billiards room and Mademoiselle’s apartment styled by Anton Venoir Interiors.

Rendez-vous au Como for some French flavour before Christmas.
