Leapfrog at Melbourne Zoo

Melbourne Zoo

Leap into the new World of Frogs exhibit at Melbourne Zoo and learn all sorts of wacky and weird facts about the amphibian.

The exhibition will feature a variety of  endangered frogs including the tiny yellow and black Southern Corroboree Frog, the green Spotted Tree Frog and the Stuttering Frog – which sports some impressive striped legs! There’ll even be the opportunity to ake part in the Find the Corroboree Frog Hunt as well as a new giant frog sculpture within the Zoo grounds.

You’ll never look at those frogs the same way again.

When: 19 September to 18 December 2015

Where: Melbourne Zoo, Elliott Avenue, Parkville

Visit the website here.
Daily amphibian keeper talks will leave you feeling connected to these beautiful creatures and inspired to help save them from extinction. Be sure to also take part in the Find the Corroboree Frog Hunt and see if you can spot the new giant frog sculpture within the Zoo grounds.

Keeper Kids, the indoor play space, will also be celebrating all things amphibian with a frog-filled storytime and lots of games for hours of fun.

Remember, kids under 16 are free every weekend, Victorian Government school holidays and public holidays!
