Set in India, Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère (9 and 12 December 2018) tells the story of a noble warrior betrothed to a princess but in love with a temple dancer. The famous moonlit ‘white act’ – the Kingdom of the Shades – is a corps de ballet highlight, starring Australian dancer Steven McRae. Timeless classic The Nutcracker (22, 23 and 24 December 2018) will also screen.
