Where to hike this Summer

With the weather warming up and the holidays approaching, we are planning bushwalking and hiking in Victoria’s best hotspots. If you wish to escape the city hustle and bustle below is a list of the best hiking places right on our doorstep, just waiting to be explored. EASY The Domino Trail – Trentham to Lyonville – Return (Near Trentham, Victoria) Length: 12km Duration: 4hours Location: Western Victoria Distance from Melbourne CBD: 85km (85km north west of Melbourne) Trentham to Lyonville hike is an easy and enjoyable walk running along the old railway line with the exception of a short detour around the bridge over Coliban River (about 600 metres from Lyonville). The walk is approximately 6km long and will take about 2 hours to complete one way. After a few minutes walking, you will discover the first old wooden bridge built in the late 1870’s which crosses Stoney Creek.
